Arete Educational Consulting is thrilled to announce the launch of an educational app that will revolutionize the accessibility to quality tutoring and advising. We are seeking undergraduate, graduate students, and graduates of TCD-selected colleges to provide tutoring for the Classroom Door, a digital education platform.

Now more than ever, digital learning is becoming a crucial component of quality education. The Classroom Door is a democratized digital marketplace for students to find extraordinary college advisors, educational consultants, and tutors at accessible rates. It is a home for students and teachers to collaborate in real-time, with whiteboard technology designed for powerful online teaching and learning. It is also a platform for college students and graduates to find paid tutoring opportunities from the comfort and safety of their own space.

Once hired, you will be added to our database of vetted tutors. Students will be able to filter through to find a tutor who specializes in the fields they require support in. Applicants may schedule to take the test at their convenience. Three scores are reported on the General Test: a verbal score reported on a score scale, in point increments; a quantitative score reported on a score scale, in point increments; and an analytical writing score reported on a score scale, in half-point increments.

For the subject test, one total score is reported on a score scale, in point increments. California schools do not require the PCAT, but just over half of the out-of-state pharmacy schools do. The exam tests verbal and quantitative ability, biology, chemistry and reading comprehension.

Exam scores should be available online within 5 weeks of the test date. The OAT is required by all schools and colleges of optometry in the U. The exam is computer based and lasts just over one-half day in length. The OAT consists of four parts: survey of the natural sciences biology, general chemistry, organic chemistry ; Reading Comprehension; Physics; and Quantitative Ability.

Although many students take such courses, others prepare without them. Some applicants prepare for the standardized tests using test preparation materials and practice exams. Please meet with a Pre-Health Advisor to discuss your particular situation if you have questions on how to prepare.

This is a great opportunity for you to see how you might score on the real thing, and also to become familiar with the kinds of questions that will be on the real test.

For most students, this exam will be a more realistic test-taking experience as you can practice in the format that mirrors most graduate school exams.
